defense possible. You need an experienced criminal lawyer to evaluate the evidence, both against and
favorable to you, to determine the extent of any criminal liability in your case. Your liberty, livelihood, and
reputation are at stake.

Information your attorney will want to know when you call:
New cases
--the charge or charges
-- the case number, the court and date of next court setting
-- time and place the offense was alleged to have occurred
-- what is known about the complainant or other witnesses
-- what physical evidence may exist
-- what law enforcement agency made the arrest
-- details about past criminal record, if any
-- Jail location and jail ID if in custody
-- the amount of the bond set, if any
--other outstanding warrants that my prevent release on bond
Probation revocation cases
--any of the above, if applicable
--terms and conditions alleged to have been violated
--status of fees owed and community services hours performed
--the court that granted the probation and the date probation began
Of course, it is not necessary to have all of this information before you call, but the more you
have, the easier it is for the attorney to assess the case and determine what initial steps
should be taken.
